Freight containers are available in a range of shapes and sizes, 20ft and 40ft standard (or general purpose) containers are the most commonly used container type in the freight industry although high cube containers are often called upon for light weight, high volume cargoes. Other container types such as flat rack & platform containers are usually used for heavy loads or large over-sized cargo.
