Project Cargoes To India (2004)

Throughout August 2004, Tuscor Lloyds UK Ltd , successfully secured the movement of a major Filtration Project for the Government of India.

The shipment consisted of over 41TEU many of which were 40ft Flat Rack Containers (OOG).

Although the basic operations were fairly straight forward, in principle, the need to correlate all the different parties in the UK, Germany, Czech Republic and India required a comprehensive management plan for the project.

Tuscor Lloyds was uniquely placed to deal with this requirement. The majority of the cargo was out of gauge and required different Government Permits to travel on the European roads. This combined with a time sensitive schedule made for an interesting set of shipments. Despite all the obstacles, involving language and logistics, Tuscor Lloyds UK Ltd managed a smooth and timely delivery to the Consignee.
