Project Cargoes To Kuwait (2004)

In May 2004, Tuscor Lloyds (UK) Ltd was given the challenge to ship 8 non ISO fuel tank containers (6.10m x 2.44m x 3.00m / 5060 Kgs each) to Kuwait after they had been refused by a renowned freight forwarder as they where unable to meet within the budget and time scale allocated.

The most difficult part was not obtaining the 8 x 40' F/R Containers that the cargo was shipped on. It was the fact the freight was already in transit on the UK roads without a specified delivery point.

Within the same day, Tuscor Lloyds arranged for the cargo to be delivered to Southampton, obtain acceptance from the shipping line within the required budget, load, lashing, secured and shunt to the terminal all in time to be shipped on board the vessel that we already in and working.

At the delight to both shipper and consignee for the excellent service provided, Tuscor Lloyds have carried many repeat cargoes for this particular client.
