Project Cargos - Felixstowe to Monterrey

Tuscor Lloyds was contacted by a Metal Forging Company in Mexico to move a large industrial steel press from the West Midlands area to Monterrey in Northern Mexico.

The consignment itself was a used steel press weighing in at over 250 metric tonnes.

The shipment was broken down by exporter into several Open Top and Flat Rack Containers plus 4 unpacked parts for the press, with each of these parts weighing around 50 metric tonnes.

Tuscor Lloyds accepted the challenge with its usual enthusiasm and dedication, securing the relevant road permits and vessel space to best suit the clients needs.

Despite the size and weights involved, and the time limitations placed by both the UK Exporter and Consignee in Mexico, Tuscor Lloyds managed to successfully load and secure all the cargo onto the same vessel and comply with the door delivery requirements in Mexico. Much to the appreciation of the client.
