Project Cargoes - Korea to Jebel Ali (2009)

Tuscor Lloyds where appointed to move 12 modular transporters from Korea to United Arab Emirates. Our client approached us with a request to move all 12 transporters which had a requirement to be on site in the U.A.E before the end of August. The Modular transporters were needed on site to complete the movement of several large items being incorporated into a large construction project for which any delay would put the whole project behind schedule.

Together with our long standing agent Always Blue Sea and Air Cargo Ltd of Korea we co-ordinated the collection of the transporters to Busan port and arranged for cargo to be lashed and secured to 12 x 40’ Flat Rack containers together with associated parts which we consolidated into 1×20 DV.

All cargo was secured to a high standard to ensure all flat racks could be accepted in one presentation to the line with the satisfaction of the master of the vessel. At the very last minute our client incurred issue with their documentation the whole shipment was put at risk by a small administration issue. However through our office in Manchester and our agent in Korea we managed extension to the vessel cut off time. The client was able to overcome their documentation problems and having the advantage of sharing their problem with Tuscor Lloyds together with our colleagues in Korea having this information update real time allowed ourselves to take care of the shipment allowing them to concentrate on their project at destination.
