Tuscor Lloyds Recent Projects 2022

Oil & Gas Winch Equipment - Scotland to Singapore

Tuscor Lloyds recently completed a Breakbulk Project from Scotland to Singapore.18 pieces of Oil and Gas Winch equipment, weighing in at a total of 247 tonnes with 1 piece weighing 55 ton alone. In Scotland, the cargo was collected loose using a combination of low-loaders and flatbed trailers. However, due to the cargo weight being too heavy for containerised shipping, MAFI trailers were used on a roll on/roll off service (RORO). The breakbulk cargo was then discharged in Singapore 21 days later.

“Great job delivered by our team and trusted suppliers. Planned and executed with the desired result. All cargo collected from the client’s door and delivered to end user’s door on time and within budget with documented updates throughout the journey – Very happy customer and equally satisfying for our Project Team.” Martyn Blackburn

16 Reels Wire Rope - UK to Batam Island

A fantastic job highlighting the capabilities of our services here at Tuscor! This breakbulk projected consisted of delivering 16 reels wire rope weighing a total of 181,380kg to Batam Island from the UK. Due to the lack of liner services to Batam Island, we had to employ our partner in Singapore in order to hire a barge to move cargo from Singapore to Batam Island. This project required extensive planning and organisation from our operations team. However, with the dedication of our staff, we were able to transport the cargo safely, securely and within the estimated arrival time.

OOG Project - Antwerp to Veracruz

On the 15th December, Tuscor Lloyds completed an OOG project from Antwerp to Veracruz. This project was challenging for the team at Tuscor Lloyds but with innovative planning & due diligence, the project was a success. The OOG cargo was loaded and lashed at the port of loading (Antwerp) onto two 40FT flack racks. Due to this cargo containing a piece weighing 36 tonnes, it took precise planning to ensure sufficient spreading of the weight was considered to prevent point load on the flat rack. Both OOG cases were lifted on board the vessel by means of a Kalmar gantry crane.

“Against all odds, with lack of trucks, vessel space and special equipment, I’ve been able to very proudly complete the job within the budget price for the satisfaction of the client and at the same time I would like to thank the carriers CMA and so many subcontracts in the process who made this.” Mirella Castle
